For this special Sunday, we move church from the pews to the tables, sing Christmas carols, hear stories, have brunch, share communion, and celebrate King Jesus. If you're in the Morgantown area, and you're looking to get connected to a church community, this is the perfect time to check it out! You don’t want to miss it!

Be the Gift is our annual church-wide season of service and celebration leading up to Christmas. Each year, our whole church family comes together to share our gifts, serve our neighbors, and shine the love of Jesus in practical ways.
This year’s theme is Community of Kindness, inspired by Micah 6:8. In a world that often feels divided, we want to live out God’s call to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with Him.
Throughout the season, we’ll practice daily acts of kindness, support Pantry Plus More, serve at Hazel’s House of Hope, and gather for our Be the Gift worship and brunch at Camp Muffley—plus our traditional Christmas Eve service at the building.
Schedule of Events
Join us through November and December for our Be the Gift activities!
November 9 - Invitations for Be the Gift worship and brunch and Christmas Eve service available in the foyer. Sign-ups for brunch foods and RSVP starting.
November 16 - Start collection of adult-sized gloves, socks and toboggans for Hazel’s House of Hope.
November 23 - Julie with Pantry Plus More to speak about their group and the collection we’ll be doing.
November 30 - Collection bags and lists available at Welcome Center for Pantry Plus More. Kids hand out Calendar of Kindness during service. Extras will be available at the Welcome Center.
December 1-24 - Calendar of Kindness, with daily acts of kindness for everyone to do.
December 6 at 9:00am - Set up for Be the Gift worship and brunch at Camp Muffly.
December 7 at 11:00am - Be the Gift worship and brunch at Camp Muffly (anyone bringing food, please arrive by 10:30).
December 8-12 (Final date to be decided) - Students hand out cookies and invitations to Christmas Eve service at WVU.
December 14 at 1:30pm - Desserts and fellowship at Hazel’s House of Hope.
December 24 at 4:30pm - Christmas Eve Service.
December 28 - Last day to return bags for Pantry Plus More to church for pick-up.
